Now that they’ve added the much larger images for crap on other sites, can they add back in the left-side column of articles as seen back in 2011 or so (was that pre-kinja? whatever it was it was glorious never having to open more than one tab and reading articles on end until your heart gave out)?

I don’t remember that, but I do remember the site having the stories on the right side . You might be thinking even earlier.

Might have been, I distinctly remember that the article you were reading and the list of articles on the side scrolled independently of each other.
Wow, bouncing around a few years on WaybackMachine shows this site has changed layout quite a bit over the years.
